Carbon steel butt welding flange is a kind of pipe fitting, refers to the neck and a round pipe transition and pipe butt welding connection flange.  Butt welding flange is a kind of disc parts, most common in pipeline engineering, flanges are used in pairs.  In pipeline engineering, butt welding flange is mainly used for pipeline connection.  In the demand of the connection of the pipeline, all kinds of installation of a flange, low-pressure pipeline can use wire flange,4 kilograms to the use of buoyancy welding flange, between the two flanges with a tight sealing point, then fastening with screws. 

 Different pressure flanges have different thicknesses and use different screws, pumps and valves. When connecting with pipes, the parts of these appliances, materials and equipment, are also made into corresponding flange shapes, which are also called flange connections.  

The heat resistance of carbon steel flange is expressed as;  

•  Carbon steel flange high impact resistance: due to the unique and special impact strength function than other solid wall pipe has significantly improved, its ring stiffness is commensurate with the solid wall 1.3 times.  

• Carbon steel flange use to save the life of the number of years: pipe in the quota of the use of temperature and pressure, use to save the life of more than 50 years, with uv, radiation, make the product fade.  

• Carbon steel flange corrosion resistance: in addition to a small amount of hydrogenating agent, can withstand the corrosion of a variety of chemical media, the flange has a particularly good acid resistance, alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, will not rust, will not erode, will not breed bacteria, no electrochemical erosion.  

• Carbon steel flange heating: due to the low heat transfer coefficient of the material, the heat transfer coefficient of 20 degrees Celsius is 0.21-0.24W/ MK, much smaller than the steel pipe (43-52W/ MK), purple steel pipe (333W/ MK), so the PP-R pipe heating is good.  

Carbon steel flange connection should be maintained on the same axis, the deviation of the screw hole center should not exceed 5% of the aperture, and the screw should be guaranteed free penetration.  The connecting screws of carbon steel flanges should be of the same specifications, and the installation direction should be the same, and the screws should be tightened evenly.  Unequal parallelism of carbon steel flanges cannot be remedied with diagonal washers of unequal thickness.  Double washers cannot be used. 

 When large diameter gaskets need to be spliced, flat mouth butt can not be used, should feel appropriate and use diagonal lap or not easy to explore the field.  In order to facilitate the installation and removal of carbon steel flanges and fastening screws, the distance between the simplest surface of carbon steel flanges and the bracket and the wall should not be less than 200mm.  Tightening screws should be said to cross along the sequence, in order to ensure uniform force on the gasket.
