The Lantern Festival, also known as the Shangyuan Festival, Xiaoyue, Yuanxi or Lantern Festival, is the 15th day of the first month of the Chinese lunar calendar. It is the last important festival in the Chinese New Year. Lantern Festival is one of the traditional festivals in China and overseas Chinese. Yuanxiao night, the streets decorated with lanterns, people enjoy the lanterns, guess lantern riddles, eat yuanxiao, will continue from the New Year's Eve celebrations to another climax, become the custom of generations.
