Production technology: production technology is mainly divided into forging, casting, cutting, these three.  Cast out, the blank shape and size is accurate, small processing volume, low cost, but there are casting defects (pores.  Crack.  Inclusion);  Poor streamlining of the internal structure of the casting (even worse if it is a cutting part);  Generally lower carbon content than casting flange is not easy to rust, forging streamlined, compact structure, mechanical properties are better than casting flange;  Improper forging process will also appear grain size or uneven, hardening crack phenomenon, forging cost is higher than casting flange.  

Forgings can withstand higher shear and tensile forces than castings.  The advantage of casting is that a more complex shape can be made, the cost is relatively low;  Forgings have the advantage of uniform internal structure, without harmful defects such as pores and inclusions in castings.  The difference between cast flange and forged flange is distinguished from the production process. For example, centrifugal flange belongs to a kind of cast flange.  Flange is produced by precision casting method. The casting structure is much finer than that of ordinary sand casting, and the quality is improved a lot. It is not easy to have problems such as loose tissue, porosity and trachoma.  

First of all, we need to understand how centrifugal flange is produced, centrifugal casting to make flat welding flange technology and products, its characteristics are that the product is processed through the following process steps:  

(1) The selected raw material steel into the medium frequency furnace smelting, so that the temperature of molten steel reached 1600-1700℃;  

(2) Preheat the metal mold to 800-900℃ to maintain a constant temperature.  

(3) Start the centrifuge and pour molten steel in step 1 into the preheated metal mold in step 2;  

(4) The casting is cooled naturally to 800-900℃ for 1-10 minutes;  

(5) Cool the casting to close to room temperature with water, demoulding out.
