Yanshan County in Hebei Province, known as the largest pipeline equipment manufacturing hub in the nation, is making remarkable strides towards achieving diversified and high-quality development. The region aims to enrich its industrial landscape and is proactively guiding enterprises to enhance their innovation capacities. This initiative includes the expansion of research and development in high-end engineering plastics fittings, catering to a broad spectrum of applications, especially in precision chemicals and other sectors requiring high-performance and high-value-added plastic fittings. These products have quickly gained popularity in the market.

Key enterprises, with a focus on high-tech innovation, have consistently pushed the boundaries of what is possible and have secured an impressive total of 27 patents. Their pipes and associated fittings are in high demand across the country. During our visit to Yanshan's Wang Shu Industrial Development Zone, we encountered a plastic manufacturing company producing premium plastic pipe fittings, with individual items priced at over a thousand dollars. Several of these companies have earned the prestigious titles of "Provincial High-Tech Enterprises" and "Provincial Special New Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises."

Currently, Yanshan County's pipeline equipment manufacturing industry is thriving with over 2,000 enterprises. It has developed four major industrial chains encompassing nuclear power, thermal wind power, oil and gas transmission, and municipal networks. These products find wide-ranging applications in fields such as oil and gas transmission, submarine pipeline networks, and thermal pipelines. The annual processing capacity exceeds 10 million tons, contributing to a substantial main business income exceeding 20 billion RMB.
